Windows Vista is the next version of Microsoft Windows after Windows XP from Microsoft. It was codenamed Longhorn, but on July 28, 2005, Microsoft announced it would be called Vista.

Microsoft has worked on Vista for more than five years so there are many things that are new to Windows. It has new features like a thumbnail tab view, so you can actually see what a program is doing. It will include many programs like a calendar you can put events on, and the computer will tell you when those events are near.
